Loxahatchee Battlefield Preservationists To Preserve and Educate the Public About Jupiter's 5000 Years of Indigenous History. Two battles took place at Loxahatchee Battlefield Park in Jupiter, Florida.

The Second Seminole War was the longest, bloodiest, and most costly Indian war in American history, costing more than 30 million dollars, more than the American Revolution. It was the first war fought over slavery, despite what they taught you in school. It was fought to force out the Seminoles, but also to protect the institution of slavery.
