Our vision is child welfare transformed. A world where every child's dreams can come true. Fostering dreams for foster children. We believe in collective impact.

Selfless Love Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization that leverages resources, expertise, and proven solutions to improve the child welfare system, creating opportunities for more foster youth to find their forever families and thrive in adulthood. We believe all children deserve a family, whether that is by being adopted or by being there as an extended family for youth that age out – we believe family is everything. Collective Impact is a means by which people come together in a structured way to achieve social change. Selfless Love Foundation is the thought leader for adoptions and transitioning youth in the state of Florida in driving changes to policy, practice, and process to reduce barriers to foster care adoption. This is what allows the work we do to transform generations to come in a positive way. We are focused on impact. We work in three key areas to transform the lives of current and former foster youth though awareness and strategic partnerships: adoption, independent living, and advocacy.

And then there were four! 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦💗 Josh and Janelle are celebrating the adoption of their second child, Everett!

Josh and Janelle said:
“Selfless Love Foundation has helped us immensely. Prior to being connected with Daniel from Selfless Love Foundation, we had been waiting three years with no luck being matched. Once connected with Daniel, we were contacted consistently by agencies about possible matches and were connected with our son within about five months. Daniel was always a great resource and advocate for us and was always willing to answer our questions or contact people on our behalf. We have felt so supported and seen by the Foundation in a way that we did not throughout our first adoption.”

We know our Adoption Connector, Danny is an expert in the field, and now everyone knows! 🎥💖📣

Danny shared his experience at the 55th National Foster Parent Association Education Conference in Crystal City, Virginia. He joined foster, adoptive and kinship caregivers, advocates and child welfare professionals to learn, connect and share ideas that strengthen support for children and families.🤝

Our Philanthropy Council kickoff brought our members together to reconnect, recharge, and prepare for an exciting social season ahead. We’re so grateful to the in-kind donors who helped make it possible. ✨

Our youth at Brown’s Harbour spent the evening putting their skills to the test during a hands-on cooking class, thanks to the culinary skills of our friend Babe Rizzuto! From preparing a meal to enjoying it together, experiences like these are about more than what’s on the menu. It’s ! Every October, Selfless Love Foundation leads the effort to represent, advocate for, and support youth impacted by foster care while empowering them to lead change one voice at a time.

This year’s theme, “Driven by Experience,” recognizes that youth with lived experience are the experts. Their perspectives inspire change, and their leadership is helping shape child welfare policies and laws that better support youth in care and generations to come.

Step right up, Texas! 🎪🤠💗
Our adoption, independent living, and advocacy teams joined more than 1,500 child welfare professionals at the 2026 Texas Child Care Administrators Conference to strengthen support for children and families.

Selfless Love Foundation proudly sponsored the inaugural Living Experts Pre-Conference Meet & Greet, creating a welcoming space for those with lived experience in adoption, kinship care, and foster care to connect, share their experiences and build community.

Our Adoption Coordinator, Danny, led a community training in Lakeland, Florida, on navigating the school system for children impacted by foster care. 🚗💗

The training brought together TLC (Tender Loving Caregivers) and Heartland for Children to strengthen support for foster and adoptive families. Danny shared tools to help families advocate for children in the classroom, from navigating 504 Plans and IEPs to exploring Step Up For Students scholarships.

We’re proud to share knowledge, build partnerships and help adoptive families thrive. 🤝

🛎️ Class is in session! Introducing the Florida 🌴 Selfless Love Academy Class of 2027!

Each scholar has committed to more than 150 hours of leadership training, including financial literacy, public speaking, business etiquette, and one-on-one executive coaching. Over the next nine months, the students will be evaluated on their commitment to the program and the strength of their graduation speech. 🎓
