St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store Jupiter Florida We are a thrift store, and the earnings from are store are used to help the poor and suffering. 92 c The Society models its service to the poor after St. Louis.

The Society was founded in France in 1833 by a young college student, Frederic Ozanam, The Society grew quickly. Vincent de Paul, a French priest who lived in France in the 15th Century. The first SVDP conference in the United States was organized in 1845 in St. Missouri which today is the site of the Society's National Headquarters. The Society in Palm Beach County serves the poor with 21 parish

conferences, a food distribution warehouse, and several food pantries. The Society also supports twinning projects which assist the needy in Haiti and other areas of Latin America as well as local projects in Pahokee and Indiantown. The Society is supported by your donations, grants from private foundations, and our national car donation program.
