Annual Las Vegas Moose Tournament is fast approaching! Jan 14-17th, 2018. $870 includes 2 buy-ins and 4 nights stay. Just an FYI - I've book my flight out of Miami for Jan 13th (departs at 7:15am) and returning Jan 18th out of Vegas at midnight. Round trip direct flight was $110.00. Checked bags are $25 each way.

Jupiter Tequesta Moose Kayak Club will be meeting at 10am on Monday (Labor Day) Sept 4th. SAWFISH BAY PARK launch and meet. The park is located on the east side of Alt A1a on the south side of the inlet bridge.

Yesterday's poker tourney at the lodge was a small game. DC, Dan, Sandy, Don, Rusty, (your's truly... Denise) and big Mark, were there for a small 7 handed, 1 table game. It ran a little over an hour, with DC and Sandy splitting 3rd place. Don and I chopped 1st. Looking forward to seeing MORE of you in the future! NEXT GAME WILL BE AT 7pm ON WEDNESDAY Aug 2nd. If you need more info, please PM me. $27 buy-in includes $2.00 for the high hand. 1st re-buy $20 for an additional $10k in chips, 2nd re-buy $10 for $10k. NO RE-BUYS AFTER BREAK.

This may come as a shock to those of you not living in Las Vegas , but there are more Catholic churches than casinos.

Not surprisingly, some worshipers at Sunday services will give casino chips rather than cash when the basket is passed.

Since they get chips from many different casinos, the churches have devised a method to collect the offerings.

The churches send all their collected chips to a nearby Franciscan monastery for sorting and then the chips are taken to the casinos of origin and cashed in.


This is done by the CHIP MONKS.
