Happy Heavenly Birthday to the man who was the inspiration behind Goose Flights, Tony "Goose" Siragusa. Your memory and legacy will continue on through the work of Goose Flights, but also through the immense impact you made during your time here on earth. 💜🎂

Below you will see the inspiration behind our Goose Flights Logo. Every time Tony would make a sack, he would do the iconic "Goose dance" where he flapped his arms up and down. This dance also resembles an airplane which is a big part of our mission here at Goose Flights.

Meet Clay in this wonderful news story & awesome photos! Goose Flights had the privilege to help this family with transportation needs during and after Clay's treatments. Clay was diagnosed with a brain tumor and underwent surgery in Boise to remove the tumor. He was then transported to Utah for a type of radiation treatment that was not in Idaho.

We were so honored to be able to assist with sourcing and helping with sponsoring a flight for Jimmy to get to Boston Children's Hospital for his appointment to receive his specialized medical treatment and back home the same day!

Meet Sydney Whitaker, a beautiful 9-year-old from Jupiter, Florida, who has been bravely battling brain cancer. For the past eight months since her diagnosis, Sydney has been undergoing chemotherapy and enduring invasive surgeries to remove a brain tumor almost the size of a golf ball. When she awoke from one of these surgeries, it was evident that she had suffered facial paralysis. Doctors informed the Whitaker family that Sydney would require a facial nerve reanimation procedure to regain movement on the right side of her face and restore her smile.

To perform this specialized surgery in Boston, Sydney needed approval from her oncologist and had to schedule the procedure within a critical window dictated by her blood counts and the timing since the onset of paralysis. As Sydney is currently undergoing chemotherapy, is immunocompromised, and has recently been hospitalized due to low blood counts, commercial travel was not a safe option. Recognizing these challenges, Goose Flights stepped in and safely transported Sydney and her parents to Boston, where she will undergo the facial nerve reanimation procedure to bring back her beautiful smile! 😃
