🌾 Farm City Day 2026 was a great success! 🌾
We hosted 18 stations representing a wide variety of agriculture, and we couldn’t have done it without our amazing volunteers. Thank you to. Riesterer & Schnell, Cargill, Helena, FarmFirst Dairy Cooperative, BelGioioso Cheese, CJ Haase Vet & Immuno Services, Dodge County Dairy Promotion, Wisconsin Soybean Association, Dideon, Mayville FFA, as well as our Farm Bureau board members and additional volunteers for making the day so impactful.
Each group of students was led by a Mayville FFA member, who guided them through all of the stations. Upon departure, each school received resources from Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin, milk from Dodge County Dairy Promotions, and cheese from Saputo and BelGioioso.

Thank you so much to the Gault family for allowing us to use your farm to educate youth!

The weather was beautiful, and we were incredibly fortunate to have a wonderful host farm that graciously opened their farm to us.

📣 Big Announcement! 🌱🐄

We are thrilled to announce that the 2026 Dodge County Farm–City Day Host Farm will be Gault Valley Farms!

A huge thank you to the Gault Family for generously opening their farm to welcome 200 students, 40 chaperones, more than 25 Mayville FFA members, and over 50 adult volunteers. Thanks to their support, Dodge County 4th graders will have an incredible opportunity to learn about agriculture firsthand. We are extremely excited to visit the farm next week!

Alittle bit about our host-

🌾 Welcome to Gault Valley Farms�Striving for the best outcomes through sustainable use of resources.
Brothers Dave and Ken Gault operate Gault Valley Farms, a family operation originally started by their grandparents in 1945 and passed down through generations. Dave and Ken took over the farm from their parents in 2004 and continue to blend tradition with innovation.

Today, the farm milks nearly 300 cows using five Lely robotic milkers, with calves fed through an automated Lely feeding system. Over 700 acres are planted and harvested each year to feed the herd, and the farm also provides custom harvesting services for neighboring farms. From planting to harvesting to nutrient management, GPS and precision technology are used throughout the operation.

These technologies allow the farm to be primarily family-run, while keeping a strong focus on cow health, comfort, efficiency, and sustainability—ensuring the farm continues to thrive for future generations.

We are honored to partner with Gault Valley Farms and can’t wait to celebrate agriculture and education together at Farm–City Day 2026! 🚜🌱
