🌳 FREE TREES FOR JUNEAU RESIDENTS 🌳

To mark one year since the May 15, 2025 tornado, the Juneau Lions Club will be giving away free trees to residents of the City of Juneau this Saturday starting at 9 - 11 am at Juneau City Park near Fair St & Lincoln Dr.

Available trees include:
🍎 Apple
🌸 Black Cherry
🍁 Sugar & Red Maple
🌲 White Cedar
🌳 Poplar
🌿 Basswood

Please bring a form of ID, as preference will be given to City of Juneau residents.

The Juneau Lions are planning an event to mark one year since the tornado. As part of our community’s continued recovery, we’ll be replacing some of the trees that were lost.
We have a list of tree varieties available and would love your input on which ones we should offer. Your suggestions will help us narrow it down and make the best choices for our community.
Once everything is finalized, we’ll announce the date and time when you can pick up your trees.
