Dodge County Humane Society We are a 501(c)(3) not for profit shelter that services the Dodge County area. We operate under DATCP Dog Facility Operator License Number 267299.

�We do not have online applications. All applications have to be completed in person at the time of meeting.

�We do not require appointments to view the animal you're interested in. We however do not have open viewing of our dogs; so we do ask that you know who you would like to meet with.

�Our application process is not first come first serve. We base our decisions on what we feel would be th

e right fit home for the animal. Not all adoptions are same day. It depends on the status of the animal you're interested in and if management is available.

�We schedule all of our cat and dog surrenders for certain days and times of the week. If this is something you have to do please give us a call for further pricing and scheduling information.

Al is ready to check out his dorm and see who he is rooming with!

Al is a sweet, goofy young boy with just enough of that lovable orange-cat personality to keep you smiling. He’s curious, affectionate, playful, and has shown quite a bit of interest in the other cats around him. We think Al would really enjoy having a feline companion and playmate in his future home.

If Huey and Louie could pick the soundtrack for these last days of summer, it would definitely have the lyrics “Slow Down Summer.”

Because somehow, an entire summer has passed… and these boys are still waiting. 💙 They’ve watched the days get longer, felt them start getting shorter, and now the backpacks are coming out and school is almost back in session.
Huey and Louie have spent all summer waiting for a home.

At just 8 months old, these brothers have done enough time in the classroom. They’re curious, adorably awkward, enjoy attention, and are still figuring out this whole how to cat thing together.

Their academic achievements include advanced studies in biscuit making, professional napping, window surveillance, treat acquisition, and convincing humans that they definitely need a cat.

Soft blankets. Sunbeams through the window. A cozy spot that belongs only to her. Someone who learns all of her little quirks and loves every single one.

That’s the kind of life we’re dreaming about for Kylie. 🎀

Kylie is 2 years old, and lately, we’ve been getting to see more and more of the girl hiding underneath those initial nerves.

She’s sweet. She’s curious. And now that she’s getting comfortable? ✨ She’s got a little sass, too. ✨

She even has the tiniest little voice to make sure you know when she has something important to say. 😂
