Dodge County Humane Society We are a 501(c)(3) not for profit shelter that services the Dodge County area. We operate under DATCP Dog Facility Operator License Number 267299.

�We do not have online applications. All applications have to be completed in person at the time of meeting.

�We do not require appointments to view the animal you're interested in. We however do not have open viewing of our dogs; so we do ask that you know who you would like to meet with.

�Our application process is not first come first serve. We base our decisions on what we feel would be the right fit home for the animal. Not all adoptions are same day. It depends on the status of the animal you're interested in and if management is available.

�We schedule all of our cat and dog surrenders for certain days and times of the week. If this is something you have to do please give us a call for further pricing and scheduling information.

Penny is the perfect mix of professional lounger and wrestling champion. One minute she’s relaxing and enjoying the good life, and the next she’s ready to run around, play, and show you she’s still got it. She’s goofy, entertaining, and guaranteed to keep you smiling. ❤️

Meet Jake, a handsome 10-year-old gentleman who knows exactly what he likes, when he likes it, and when he’s officially had enough. 😂❤️

Jake enjoys attention, appreciates a good brushing, and is happy to soak up some love from his people. BUT this guy believes in boundaries. When he’s ready for some alone time, he’ll let you know! He’s got a little sass, a little spice, and absolutely no interest in pretending to be someone he’s not. 😂

🐾💙 TWO BROTHERS. FOUR PAWS EACH. ZERO CHILL. 💙🐾

🚨 YUKON & YULE HAVE ENTERED THE CHAT, AND THE ZOOMIES ARE IN FULL FORCE! 🚨😂

If you’ve ever wondered what happens when you put two goofy brothers together and let them loose in the yard… well, THIS VIDEO IS YOUR ANSWER. 🤣💨 These boys are running, wrestling, chasing each other, and living their absolute BEST puppy lives!

Yukon and Yule found themselves at a shelter in Texas, but thanks to an amazing foster, they’ve gotten a chance to start fresh and show the world just how wonderful they are. Their sister, Yuma, has already found her forever home, and now it’s time for these two handsome boys to find theirs! 🏡❤️

At 9 months old, these Australian Kelpie mixes are the perfect combination of playful puppy energy and sweet, lovable personalities. They’ve been fostered with dogs of all shapes and sizes and have done fantastic with them! Having a dog friend to romp around with? HUGE bonus. Toys? Absolutely. Learning new things? You bet. And when playtime is over, they’re more than happy to soak up some love from their favorite humans. 🥹🐾

💙 YUKON — 37 LBS OF BIG BABY ENERGY!

He might be the bigger brother, but he’s still just a baby at heart! 😂 Yukon loves running around with his dog friends, playing with his toys, and showing off what he’s learning. He already knows “come” and “kennel,” and he’s ready to keep working on his skills with his forever family!

💚 YULE — 35 LBS OF PLAYFUL SWEETNESS!

Yule is always up for a good game of fetch, a little wrestling with his buddies, or simply hanging out and enjoying life. And the best part? THIS BOY ACTUALLY BRINGS THE BALL BACK! 🎾🏆 We know, we know… a puppy who plays fetch AND returns the toy? Somebody give this guy a gold medal! 😂 He knows “house” as his kennel cue and is just as happy snuggling up as he is running around.

Conrad is a 3-year-old, 85 lb. Boxer mix looking for a quieter life with someone who appreciates a little peace and plenty of quality time with their best friend. ❤️

Conrad loves his person HARD. That big love can sometimes translate into being protective of the person he bonds with, so he’s looking for an adopter who will take the time to understand him, respect his protective tendencies, and help him feel secure and successful.

🎃 MIDGET — 11 YEARS OLD & STILL WAITING FOR HIS PLOT TWIST 👻

Eleven years on this planet, and somehow Midget is STILL waiting for his forever home. At this point, we’re starting to think his love story is stuck in development. 😂

This handsome orange-and-white gentleman has a few opinions about life, and occasionally, he’s going to share them with you. He can be nervous when things change, so he’d appreciate a calm home, a little patience, and someone who understands that the best relationships don’t always happen overnight. ❤️

But here’s the thing about senior cats: they deserve a happily-ever-after, too. Midget shouldn’t have to spend his golden years waiting for someone to pick him. He deserves a soft place to land, a safe home to call his own, and a human who sees just how special he is.

Today, we drew a heart around Penny’s head, but honestly? We could draw a thousand hearts around this girl and it still wouldn’t be enough to show how much we adore her. 🥹❤️

At 9 years young, Penny is the sweetest, s***kiest girl with a personality that’s just as big as she is. She’s got that special kind of magic that makes you fall in love with her without even trying. One minute she’s soaking up the good life, and the next she’s reminding everyone that she’s still got plenty of pep in her step! 😂

Peanut found her way into foster care in Texas after being born as part of an accidental litter. This sweet girl is ready to find her forever family, and we think someone is going to be VERY lucky to bring her home! ❤️

Peanut is an incredibly smart girl who is eager to learn and VERY food-motivated, so training is right up her alley! She loves being around her people, enjoys going for walks, and would be the perfect sidekick for an active family looking for a young pup to grow and learn with.

She may take a minute to warm up when she first meets you, but once she does, you’ll see her sweet and cuddly personality come right out! And those BIG floppy ears? Come on… how are you supposed to say no to those?! 😍
