Our services to the community as Breaking Bread of JC has been put on hold as we assist with other needs in JC. There are additional groups holding community meals: Live Well of Geary County on Monday nights; the Episcopal Church of the Covenant on Tuesday night; the Magdalene Project on Sunday afternoon. There are additional resources for food: the Geary County Food Pantry, United Methodist Church, and Fresh Start Emergency Shelter. You can message me for more details, or find those groups on Facebook.

TEFAP distribution is next Friday. Unfortunately the delivery process has changed. We are given a 3 hour window for delivery (8:00-11:00 ideally), and preparing boxes for our eligible neighbors takes our volunteers an extra hour.
For this reason, we cannot give an exact timeframe for TEFAP and Fresh Food Friday.
Distribution will continue until the food resources run out.
