Memorial Day is a moment to pause and honor the brave men and women who gave everything in service to our country. Their courage, their sacrifice, and their devotion to something greater than themselves remind us that freedom is never free. Today, we carry their memory forward with gratitude, respect, and a promise to live in a way that honors what they protected.

Our ʻohana is our foundation. It teaches us who we are, shapes who we become, and reminds us that we never walk alone. In every challenge and every joy, family is the anchor that keeps us steady and the wind that helps us rise.

The biker wave is more than a gesture — it’s a century‑old tradition in the motorcycle community. A silent greeting, a sign of respect, and a reminder that we all share the same freedom and the same vulnerability out on the road. It’s our way of saying “ride safe” or “keep your wheels on the ground.”

What it really means:

• Solidarity & Respect: It doesn’t matter what you ride — Harley, Honda, cruiser, sportbike — the wave crosses every line.
• “Keep the Rubber Side Down”: The classic low two‑finger wave is a wish for safety and smooth riding.
• Camaraderie: Only riders truly understand the risks, the joy, and the unique challenges of life on two wheels.
• Support: It’s a quiet reminder that riders look out for each other.

Common forms of the wave:

• Two‑Finger Low Wave: The most iconic version, symbolizing “two wheels on the ground.”
• The Nod: Perfect for curves, traffic, or when your hands are busy.
• Other Variations: A raised hand, a thumbs‑up, even a quick leg kick depending on the culture or situation.

Just another reason why the motorcycle community feels like family — even when we’re strangers passing on the highway.
