⚔️ We are HALFWAY through Junior High Week and GOD IS MOVING!

This year's theme is David & Goliath...and just like David, our campers are learning that no giant is too big when you've got God on your side. We've already seen lives changed, hearts opened, and students take steps in their faith that they will carry long after they leave SYC. 🙌

Here's a quick peek at what's been happening this week:
🏆 Cabin scores are heating up, but it's anybody's game!
⛺ Our campers have been pouring into worship every night, the energy in the chapel is something special.
🎤 Still to come...slip n' slide, video parable premiers and the talent show!

We are so proud of every single one of these students and thankful for our entire volunteer team for pouring into these kids all week long. ❤️

Keep the prayers coming, there are still a few more days of camp left and we can't wait to see what God does!

🔥 Senior High campers, your week is coming up!

Senior High Week is June 20th–27th, 2026, directed by Josiah & Alicia Martindale. Check-in is at 2pm on Saturday, June 20th and pick-up is at 8am on Saturday, June 27th.

This week is for students who've completed 9th–12th grade. Now featuring early check-in to give campers even more time to focus on their walk with Christ. The week includes Christian college teams, a nightly worship band, and with parent permission, this age group may leave for work or sports. ⛺✨

📌 Also, an important reminder about our NEW 2026 bag check policy:

As mentioned last season, all bags will now be checked at check-in by a board member to ensure the safety of all participants. Prohibited items include (but are not limited to) snacks, vapes, weapons, and any other items deemed unsafe or inappropriate. By attending camp, participants and guardians consent to these checks. The Director also reserves the right to inspect bags at any time as necessary.

We know this is a change, and we appreciate your cooperation and understanding. This policy is in place because the safety of your children is our top priority. If you have any questions not covered in the FAQ, please don't hesitate to reach out! ❤️⛺

📣 Junior High families, your week of camp is almost here!

Junior High Week is June 14th–20th, 2026, directed by Ethan & Tuesdae Archer. Check-in is at 2pm on Sunday, June 14th and pick-up is at 8am on Saturday, June 20th.

This week is for students who've completed 6th–8th grade and features Christian college teams, a nightly worship band, creative activities, games, and so much more. 🙌

Heads up, this is our BIGGEST week and it fills up fast, sometimes with a waiting list. If your camper isn't registered yet, don't wait another day!

⏰ REMINDER, the Young Adult Retreat is THIS FRIDAY, June 5th at 6pm!

If you haven't registered yet, NOW is the time! 🙌

Since this is our very first event of the 2026 season, we're fully stocking the kitchen from scratch, every single grocery item has to be ordered ahead of time. Knowing how many people to expect makes a huge difference, so please register ASAP if you're planning to come!

For ages 18–30, the weekend includes small groups, fellowship and live worship. Come rededicate your life to Christ and reunite with old friends back on the hill. ⛺
