Rotary is an organization of business, professional and community leaders united worldwide who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world. belong to more than 31,000 Rotary clubs located in 166 countries. The main objective of Rotary is service in the workplace, in the community and throughout the world. Rotarians develop and support community service projects to address needs in their local communities and in the international community. Rotarians sponsor international student exchanges for high school age youth, offer college scholarships for foreign study and provide cross-cultural learning experiences for business and professional persons. Through the Polio Plus Program, Rotary has been a leader in the eradication of Polio worldwide. The Rotary motto is “Service Above Self” and their guiding principles are the Four Way Test: for things Rotarians think, say or do:

1. Is it FAIR to all concerned?

Sedgwick County Rotary Grant Applications Now Open!

We are now accepting applications for the 2026 Rotary Foundation Grant! Over the past 29 years, the Sedgwick County Rotary Foundation has donated more than $220,000.00 to various Sedgwick County organizations. Past donations have included college scholarships for Revere and Julesburg High School seniors, help to local organizations for small projects including painting, planting trees, or purchasing much needed equipment. Organizations or non-profits requesting consideration for a donation in 2026 should submit a letter before April 21, 2026, explaining what you will do with the donation, how it will benefit your organization, and the amount you are requesting. Amounts awarded range from $100 up to $500, depending on the number of requests received and the need. Those awarded will be notified mid-to-late May.
