I heard these verses this morning on my way to work and I thought it was great advice for families and marriages. If you get a chance watch the attached video it goes more in depth about what these verses mean. If you don’t have time to watch the video. I’ll give you a quick description. Basically the first verse means that if a man or woman is happy in their marriage at home they will never look anywhere else for happiness outside the home.
The second one is pretty explanatory. It is better to get along with your spouse than to argue and you can’t force someone to do something they don’t want to do. Also as my wife always says you are responsible for your own actions. So we don’t need to try to restrain one another in an argument or any other time. We are responsible for ourselves and god takes the rest. Instead of thinking I wish so and so would stop doing this. Try to be kind as possible and pray that god can change their heart.
