Greetings artists! I have great news to share. Life drawing will take place at JTAG in Joshua Tree starting this Thursday, July 11 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. and continuing every Thursday. As always, we will split the cost of the model plus $5 per artist to MBCAC. Please bring your own drawing supplies and also your easel, drawing bench or chair and a drop cloth.
JTAG is located at 61607B 29 Palms Highway in Joshua Tree. I hope to see you there in this more central location!

Regrettably, we must announce that the Joshua Tree Life Drawing League will not be resuming the weekly drawing sessions this year. We may try to organize something once a month but there are no dates as yet.

Perhaps it was the evening hours but we were not able to consistently generate enough attendance to meet our weekly overhead. There is excellent model talent here in the Morongo Basin and we thank all of them for their work with us. For other options now, Donna Tomlinson ([email protected]) is hosting a drawing/painting session the 3rd Wednesday of each month in Yucca Valley. There are other drawing groups in Palm Springs, Redlands, Pamona, San Gabriel, etc.

Thanks to all who were able to attend and support the Joshua Tree Life Drawing League. Our best wishes for everyone in the New Year!

Seasons Greetings All. The JT Life Drawing League will be hosting our last drawing session of the year tomorrow, Tuesday, Dec 13th. Appropriately, our very own Gayle will be the model for the evening.
