An important bit of information slipped my mind when submitting this proposal to the community. i.e: we were thinking, let's say this Make it happen fund will grant 4 - 6 micro-grants per year. This way artists and friends of Joshua Tree will benefit for 20 years or so into the future. Then of course it could be topped up in the future with fundraisers , or artists paying forward - then it could last forever... - etc etc. - i think this is a 'good' for The mad-hatter's legacy

WOW! - as the mad-hatter would declare! - “another best day of my life!!” - yup, that’s how it always ended, - that’s how it was, before there was money, and the fear of loneliness, even before there was the basket of deplorables and the ‘mountainous inhumanity’ of hollow lovers, before there came hot dogs and rabid county hounds, hounding, before the “Karens” - we had a volunteer named Karen - she never threatened anyone with tattle tales, but for one, … and yeah, that was a wonderful tale, where all the evenings ended arrested by the W.O.W.! - Hands up, arms spread wide in a sign of surrender, cocked and loaded for a big hug - four eyes bobbing to and fro neath a leopard fur pill box hat.

“It’s not about me! - it’s about US that’s why there are two U’s in FurstWurld”…. and oh, the crackling of Tecate cans opening by the open fire - DO NOT SIT!

Thank you everybody who participated in this post, for the two cents of an idea to sprout wings. - It was beautiful, respectful, creative and inspiring. - and I believe the community is united on the theme. Now we will find the story line. And this too shall end and begin many evenings in the world filled with Wow’s and Us’s and best of bests of life. Thank you to those who expressed their trust in me to handle all this. I re-iterate, it's not me you should trust, I can’t even count money for the drum beats in my brain. - -but standing behind a carpenter who has a good case of O.C.D, some s**t is bound to load up in your lap - no worries, I'm surrounded by the careful and the trustworthy so this “ shall be done well and in business way” as the Holy Book in bad grammar commands,

Lastly, to those scratching at the door of financial disclosure, - I am not ignoring you - but for now the focus is on Bobby’s “true “ will and promise to the community. All other paths that lead to the 'pit of because,' where errors dress up in embezzlers robes, and Bobby and I the fun raising culprits, - but if “evil” is an archery term for “missing the target” then the records will show that our aim was true….as true as there are two U’s in FurstWurld, even though both Bobby and I have one blunt eye -- but, with all the ‘little help from our friends, FurtstWurld was Bull’s-eye all the way!! yeah together…. we….

Greeting friends and lovers, patrons of FurstWurld

I would like to get the community’s feed back and blessings on an idea that I think is a fair and good solution to bring the FurstWurld Solution fundraiser to the happy ending it so deserves. … One of issues, I have been wrestling with, hovers around the money that was raised by the community at the fundraiser. Since Furstwurld so abruptly closed up shop upon Bobby’s passing, the money raised was never used for what we said and intended it to be used for. When the nasty s**t hit the fan around FurstWurld, I immediately put that money on lock down, changed passwords and PIN numbers, and cleared the area with the Attorney General. - so the money could not be touched, and remains untouched. This money belongs to the community. If not being used for what we promised to use it for - it should be given back- How to do this?

it is virtually impossible to give the money back. So many people were involved , so many donated art and or gave money, not to mention all those volunteers who never got paid for building stages, mixing sound, curating the gallery, hanging the art handling the finances, on and on… The world was on fire with inspiration and excitement. We did it! Not possible to undo what was done. I use the word “I” so as to protect board members and advisors and to keep things clean, lest sparks should start to fly for some unknown reason, or from a pending lawsuit . I am the President and CEO of FurstWurld 501c3 , the buck stops here/with me,. I have great advisors, magical helpers, a legal team, and an independent accountant and those who are truly loyal to Bobby’s vision, are always at my back. I am truly grateful to all who have assisted and continue to assist me. Okay - so let me know what you think of this idea.

The MAKE IT HAPPEN fund.

The idea: The sum of the money raised by the community at the Furstwurld Solutions Fundraiser, will be put into an account. Since the “powers that be” have forbidden me/anyone to use the words Bobby Furst or FurstWurld this account will be doing business as Bobby’s MAKE IT HAPPEN Fund. Artists. Musicians, dancers, creators, writers etc. who need an extra little financial bump to finish a project or help to MAKE IT HAPPEN, can apply to the fund for a “Mini Grant” - Mini grants will range between $200- $500. The judges who will oversee the granting of these grants will be picked from the community by a community vote. A new set of judges will be voted on by the community each year the fund is running. An Independent local 501 c3 (TBD) will handle the administration of the Fund. Only people who have lived in the desert for a certain amount of years (?) will qualify for a mini grant. I hope that I can work with the Make It happen Fund on its newsletter and fundraisers to continue to raise awareness, and keep the fund financially flush as I have always done. It will also give me an inner warm feeling of still working hand in hand with my dear friend the Furst Mad-Hatter of Joshua Tree in helping to “maKE things HAPPEN”

All blessings and creative ideas that would create more value for the “MAKE IT HAPPEN” FUND are welcome and encouraged.

I am positive the Make it Happen Fund will be in action within the next month or two. - meantime, paying off all of two debts, including lawyers fees, - actions warranted by the IRS in this, the last step in the dissolution of FurstWurld 501c3. After which all social media sites will go dark. All minutes of meetings , and financial records will be available for public perusal. And lastly, to meet the demands of many, - as promised, a final newsletter will be sent out - the truth will be revealed.

And that’s that and that’s that.

To all FurstWurld Donors: I have been trying to get all tax deductible invoices out to you all but there seems to be a problem with the Patreon site. As you can see in the pics - it is treating the creator as a member. Customer support has been very helpful and i suspect it to be resolved soon. I apologize for any inconvenience.

All FurstWurld's financials have been reconciled by independent accountants and all is in good standing. Just one of the tasks I needed to get done in order to dissolve FurstWurld 501 c3.

As i move forward with this heartbreaking task of dissolving FurstWurld I am forced into coping with feelings of deep regret and anger. FurstWurld was on the verge of becoming financially a most successful 501 c3, - closing up shop i stumble onto evidence of the kinds of programs that were being discussed, and or set in motion , or earmarked, all the fantastic educators who have made commitments for the future, Programs that we would have been be able to support financially, programs that would have served the dynamic growth and development of every child of our community, and or when I see children jumping up and down or running in invisible circles ever widening for no reason, or when i hear of a homeless mother shivering in a parked car in the dark desert, unable to sleep for her crying child to comfort - it splashes FurstWurld's mission in my face like ice cold water, and all i can do is shake my head. - What a loss.

Thank you Shirley Perl for reminding me today of the grace in letting go. ... yes, i am learning to wipe the tears from my wings.

Will and Silence the short film we made on Bobby Furst won the highest award at the Yucca Valley Film Festival last night. - I had to wear glasses as every time i am interviewed about the film i start tearing up and have to cut the interview short, a few times in mid sentence, as my heart breaks and I cant stop from crying. - Little embarrassing, but for those who know - - anyhow, I wish the old dog could have been with us.
