The purpose of this club is to provide a highly beneficial program that offers students a unique opportunity to both learn and practice skills that are related to various fields in the fire service. Not only does the CMC Fire Technology Club give students that are already in the Fire Technology program an opportunity to further their skills and knowledge, but it also gives other students who are n
ot in the Fire Technology program a great opportunity to see if they want to pursue a career in the fire service. The Fire Club also benefits the community with many of the events that the club conducts being aimed to help the community. Safety is also another key feature of the Fire Technology Club because it gives students many opportunities to practice real life skills that are used by various fire departments and other emergency services. The Fire Technology Club also gives students the chance to work as a team and to use critical thinking skills to accomplish many tasks, including the coordination of events in the community. These are only some of the reasons why we encourage students to join the club; not only to benefit themselves, but also to benefit their community and their college.
