THANK YOU!!!! Last weekend, the Jordan Area Food Shelf partnered with the Minnesota Renaissance Festival to collect unexpired non-perishable food and essential household items as part of a BOGO Free Adult Admission promotion. The response was amazing! We collected THOUSANDS of items on Saturday and Belle Plaine Food Shelf had the same response on Sunday! This will help feed hundreds of local families in need! THANK YOU to the Minnesota Renaissance Festival for the opportunity and for being such a terrific supporter of our community! THANK YOU to everyone who volunteered - Deb Barker, Tanya Velishek. Joe Thill, Mike Lusic, Alex & Michelle Reinders, Julianne Brackett, Haley Brackett, Sam Womeldorf, Morgan Hedblum, Lincoln Lusic, Laila Jama and Sam Riebs! And THANK YOU to everyone who donated items! It truly took a village, and the results were absolutely amazing!

Good morning! If you plan to visit the Jordan Area Food Shelf on Saturday, August 1, we kindly ask that you bring your own boxes or bags to carry your groceries. Our supply of boxes is currently very limited, and we may not have enough available for everyone. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!

Be sure to come out and support us! Please make sure your food is NOT expired. We can’t accept it if it is! I’m sorry about that but we have rules to follow! BOGO so come out and say hi! We would love to see you!!!!

📬 Help Fight Hunger – Annual Food Drive! 🥫

The United States Postal Service will be conducting their annual food drive on Saturday, May 9th.

Participating is easy:

Place a box or can of non-perishable food next to your mailbox
Do this before your letter carrier arrives
Your carrier will pick it up and take care of the rest!

All donations will be sorted and delivered to the
Jordan Area Food Shelf,
where they will support local families in need.
