FREE sports physicals are tonight, June 1!

If your student plans to participate in athletic activities for the 2026-27 school year (including marching band), we encourage you to attend the FREE pre-participation physical clinic Monday June 1, 2026, at the JHS gyms. No advance registration is necessary. Physicals begin at 5:30pm, offered with the help of Freeman Health System Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine staff. All middle school and high school athletes are welcome.

There's no need to bring anything with you, but it will be helpful for both parents and students to have the PowerSchool app downloaded on their phones in order to complete forms. Staff will be on site to assist with PowerSchool questions.

Our Joplin High School baseball team has been named the #1 Academic All-State Team in Class 6 by the Missouri High School Baseball Coaches Association! With a combined GPA this year of 3.80, they've built the highest team average of all 33 Class 6 districts in the state of Missouri.

They compete hard on the diamond, but their greatest commitment is to their education. That kind of character is what makes us proud to call them Eagles. Congratulations, gentlemen! You make Joplin proud! 🦅⚾
