Harry S. Truman Community Development Corporation HSTCDC owns and manages 61 rental units, available to those who qualify under income guidelines. We do not offer assistance, but accept it.

We offer housing to senior citizens, low-to-moderate income individuals and families, as well as military veterans.

We are actively seeking low-income SPIRE Customers to enroll in the Spire Customer Charge Waiver program! If you qualify, the customer charge will be waived monthly for a year!

Byers Avenue UMC, in partnership with the Alliance of SW Missouri, will once again be distributing free fresh produce on Monday, July 13th at 5:30 p.m. The church is located at 1730 S. Byers Ave. in Joplin. Food will be distributed in the church parking lot on a first come, first serve basis. Please help spread the word!
