Still making progress 4 years later!! Bruce is working out with our grandson Jonah… what a blessing!! Some of you may remember one of our prayer requests was his blood work would be “normal”… well last week he had a doctor appointment and his blood work is completely normal now!!! Doctor said he should “put it on a billboard”!!!! Praise the Lord!!!

It has been 4 years since Bruce entered the hospital with what was called C0V1D.. the miracle is God spared his life and he has worked hard to get back to “normal”. A year after he got released from the last hospital his lung function was about 30 percent!!! Dr said “it probably won’t get any better”! Now he is in the 90s and playing a tenor saxophone!! We went to our granddaughters track meet and as it was starting rain papa was the lone faithful fan!!!!! So glad he is here to attend those events!!!! God still performs miracles!!!! Keep asking and praying!!

I forgot to take a picture while Bruce was taking his last pulmonary function test(Last week)
….BUT a little update… first test he took after getting out of the hospital his pulmonary function test was in the 30s… second one last year he was “almost normal” in the 70s… last week he took another one and is now“normal” at 92 percent. 80 is considered normal! We continue to be thankful. Bruce has worked hard and God has blessed beyond measure!! Praise the Lord!!! just a side note...when he had the first one the doctor said..."It probably won't get any better". I guess God had a different plan and although doctors know a lot they don't know everything.....

Come join us at First Baptist First Baptist Joplin at 7 pm for our Christmas Eve service.. Bruce (Bruce's Warriors) will be playing his tenor sax.. 3 years and one day after being admitted to the hospital… 4.5 month fight for his life and 2 year rehab… God is faithful!!! And still performs miracles today. He is a walking miracle!!! Bruce Anderson

Bruce could use your prayers. He started experiencing his heart racing, light headed and discomfort yesterday. He has called the dr. Waiting for a call back. Dr had taken him off the medicine to regulate his heart rate and was going to do a monitor… but that may not be necessary.. prayers appreciated.. UPDATE...dr office finally called. restarting medication.....he is supposed to take it easy and call if he isn't better by Wednesday.

Bruce graduated from Physical Therapy today. Thank you for all your hard work and knowledge Kendra!! Freeman Health and rehab.. rehab started 2+ years ago. It has been a lot of hard work and many people along the way had a part in his recovery. We are thankful to every one and most importantly we are thankful to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Bruce Anderson had another divine appointment today. He had a chiropractor appointment and there in the waiting room was a nurse who took care of him in the hospital. Sweet Brenda is the one who put the yellow heart in his window so we would know which room was his. She recognized him. What a blessing and encouragement!! We are thankful for all those who took good care of him!! Today we learned one of his doctors passed away (Rick Scacewater). Please pray for his family!! Rick was always kind but brutally honest.. on another note physical therapy will be coming to an end soon.. still room for improvement so he will continue to work to get stronger. We are grateful for the excellent care at Freeman Health and rehab! Thank you Kendra, Linda and Bree!! Here is a picture from today…

Just a quick update on Roger.. please continue to pray for him. First round of chemo is over and he has been dismissed. Next round is scheduled for early June. If I post any more updates they will be on my personal page.. Deb Anderson. The C is aggressive. Prayers are appreciated! We know God is our healer. So prayers for body, mind and spirit are much appreciated!!

I don’t want to hijack Bruce’s warriors and may create a page for Roger’s journey…. But I know the faithfulness of the warriors here. Roger’s C is very serious and aggressive. He was transferred to Little Rock last night and will have more tests today. Pray his bone marrow is clear and the PET scan is good. Chemo should start soon and it will be rough and aggressive. Pray for strength, wisdom, comfort, God to be glorified in this trial. Bruce and I are headed there today. I’m so thankful Bruce is here with me. Going forward I will most likely be with Roger. So prayer for all that means. Love to all..God is able to do more than we can think or imagine!!!
