Friends of the Washington County Library

We worked hard today getting everything ready, and the Annual Friends of the Library Book Sale is almost here!

Tomorrow’s opening at the Jonesborough Visitors Center:

📖 9 AM–12 PM: Friends of the Library Members Only

📖 12 PM: Open to the public!

Not a member yet? No problem! Memberships can be purchased right at the door, so you can shop the members-only hours too.

There are SO many books waiting for new homes. Come see all the work our volunteers put in today and stock up!

Help us fill the tables for our Annual Friends of the Library Book Sale! 📚🍂

We’re holding a Book Drop Off Day on Saturday, September 12 from 9:30 AM–1:00 PM at both the Jonesborough and Gray Libraries.

Bring your used books to the library parking lot and we’ll even help you unload!

We’re also accepting DVDs, audiobooks, CDs, puzzles & games, and magazines.

Any size donation is welcome!

Your donations will help stock our Annual Book Sale, September 24, 25 & 26, with all proceeds going directly back into library programming. 💜

Thank you for supporting our libraries and helping make this year’s sale a great one!

The Friends of the Library Book Room at the Gray Library is now open! 📚

Come browse a growing selection of fiction and nonfiction books for all ages and interests, along with audiobooks, CDs, DVDs, and puzzles available for purchase.

Every purchase helps support library programs and activities throughout our community. Since there is no dedicated programming money in the regular library budget, proceeds from the book room directly help make special events, activities, and programs possible at our libraries.

Have books or media you’d like to donate? Donations of books, DVDs, CDs, audiobooks, and puzzles can be dropped off at either the Jonesborough Library or the Gray Library.

Stop in, explore, and help support your local libraries one book at a time!
