In partnership with the Town of Jonesborough, TN - Municipal Government, a new community engagement series has been designed to connect residents with programs and leaders that define the Town's identity. This series will launch on July 11 and run for six weeks. Sessions will be three hours on Saturday mornings, 9am-Noon.
Sessions will cover topics such as the arts, historic preservation, public safety, public utilities, quality of life, and tourism and economic development, offering opportunities for guided tours and conversations with community leaders and professionals.

Jonesborough 101 is a community engagement series designed to connect residents with the programs and leadership that shape the town’s identity. Scheduled to begin in July 2026, the six-week initiative will provide participants with an in-depth look at municipal operations through guided facility tours and panel discussions with subject-matter experts.
The program will feature weekly three-hour sessions held on Saturday mornings from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., with each session focusing on a key aspect of the community. Sessions will cover topics such as the arts, historic preservation, public safety, public utilities, quality of life, and tourism and economic development, offering opportunities for guided tours and conversations with community leaders and professionals.

A local family with two boys, 9 and 12 were taken out of tents last night and placed in a warm spot in Washington County. They need Christmas to happen for them. If you can bring a gift to the warehouse of 72: The Mission between 3-4 this afternoon, you will bring Christmas joy to children who have nothing. Presents will be delivered by Jonesborough’s own Santa. Address is 1103 e Jackson Blvd, behind Rocky’s Pizza
