💙✂️ Feeling Incredibly Thankful ✂️💙

I am so grateful to have been a part of AG for Autism’s community event today, where I had the opportunity to provide haircuts to some amazing children and families.

What made the day even more special was being awarded a grant to support my mission through BAM (Beautiful Acquiring Minds). These funds will help purchase sensory equipment and tools for my sensory-friendly salon, allowing me to better serve children with autism, sensory processing differences, and other special needs.

As someone who has spent years working with children in both education and developmental therapy, creating a safe, welcoming environment for haircuts has truly become a passion of mine. Every child deserves to feel successful, comfortable, and celebrated during experiences that can often feel overwhelming.

Thank you to the incredible team at AG for Autism for believing in this mission and investing in the children and families we serve. I am honored to be a small part of such a supportive community.

The future of BAM is looking brighter, and I can’t wait to continue making sensory-friendly haircuts accessible for more children. 💙

Some clients are extra special, and this sweet girl is one of them. ❤️

Today was a full-circle moment for me. Instead of seeing her in the classroom, I got to welcome her into my salon chair.

What made today even more special was watching her sit in my chair with only minimal support. To many people, that may seem like a small thing, but for those of us who know her journey, it’s a huge accomplishment and a reminder of how far she has come.

Moments like this are why I love what I do. Every child deserves to feel included, comfortable, and cared for. Whether your child has special needs, medical complexities, sensory challenges, or just needs a little extra patience, my chair is a place where they are welcomed, celebrated, and loved.

Haircuts are for everyone, and I’m honored to serve children of all abilities.

Just got my new salon chair in - and it’s designed to be extra comfortable for every child who visits us! Creating a calm, supportive, and inclusive experience is always the goal, and this upgrade helps me do exactly that. Can't wait for my little clients to enjoy it! 🙌🏼

I do not run a salon on the side, I'm strictly a sensory salon - something you won’t see around here! I’m dedicated to providing a space where every guest feels confident, comfortable, and cared for.
This salon environment is created with patience, understanding, and inclusivity at the heart of every appointment.
