These students represent the very best of A-State for their excellence in academics, leadership, and service. One will be selected for the prestigious R.E. Lee Wilson Award, the university’s highest student honor recognizing character, determination and achievement.

𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐦𝐚 𝐀𝐛𝐝𝐞𝐥-𝐊𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐦 (𝐉𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐨) – A 4.0 biological sciences and chemistry major, dedicated researcher and campus leader, headed to UAMS for medical school.

𝐑𝐨𝐜𝐜𝐨 𝐇𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐬 (𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐬𝐯𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞) – A 4.0 political science and communication studies major, national scholarship finalist and standout student leader with global experience.

𝐊𝐲𝐥𝐞 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐧 (𝐍𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐮, 𝐁𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐬) – Biological sciences major, founder of the Caribbean Association and campus leader with plans to become a surgeon.

𝐊𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐧𝐚 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐠 (𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐰𝐚𝐲) – 4.0 student and Fulbright semifinalist, deeply involved in research, service and pre-med leadership.

𝐌𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐞 𝐌𝐜𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐧 (𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐚) – Biological sciences major, honors student and campus leader, pursuing a Doctor of Pharmacy at UAMS.

𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐢𝐚 𝐑𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐞 𝐏𝐲𝐞 (𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐧) – 4.0 student, researcher and Honors College leader with strong campus and community impact.
