Got to provide logistical support at the Goruck Sandlot event in Jacksonville, FL last month. 3 Self-Responder events with dozens in attendance. Rapid trauma care saves lives!

Highly recommend for LE and Fire/Rescue the ALERRT First Responder Medical (FRM) Train-the-Trainer course. Great instructors from NY, FL, TX and AR dropping the knowledge. 3 days. Best drill was the patient assessment in the back of a moving vehicle, simulating rapid casualty evac while applying TQ and other medical adjuncts.

Another range incident. Frag from a falling steel plate. North American Rescue pressure bandage applied. No arterial bleed. ER doc didn’t want to remove so he came back to the match. And beat me! Always have a med kit and a med plan when at the range.

Minor frag injury on the range yesterday. He’s fine but a reminder to always have a range med plan/bag on hand. Keep training!

The winning team from the mass casualty exercise! They were awesome and received some additional med gear for winning. Great job Brown, Carpenter, Cole and Burns! Congrats on graduating BRTC LETA Class 22-B!

Got to work multiple casualty scenarios with BRTC Law Enforcement Training Academy today. Energetic group working on basic skills that they unfortunately will probably have to use at some point following their graduation next week.
