CASA 2nd Judicial District-Arkansas CASA, Court Appointed Special Advocates speaks up for the best interest of children in foster care in Clay, Craighead, Greene, Mississippi and Poinsett.

CASA is the only volunteer organization that empowers everyday citizens as officers of the court. In an overburdened social welfare system, abused and neglected children often slip through the cracks among hundreds of current cases. CASA volunteers change that. CASA volunteers handle no more than two cases at a time—and commit to staying on the cases until the child is placed in a safe, permanent home. While others may come and go, CASA volunteers provide that one constant that children need in order to thrive. Being a CASA volunteer does not require any special education or background, simply the desire to help abused and neglected children find safe, permanent homes. Help change the odds for a child. Consider becoming a CASA volunteer today.

Ready to make a difference in the life of a child?

CASA New Advocate Training begins October 26th. This training helps prepare volunteers to serve as advocates for children in foster care, providing the tools, support, and guidance needed to step into this meaningful role.

You don’t have to have a special background to become a CASA volunteer. You just need a heart to serve, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to showing up for a child who needs someone in their corner.
