God Is About to Turn It

There are seasons where nothing seems to move.
You pray—and nothing shifts.
You wait—and nothing changes.
You believe—and nothing improves.
And the hardest place to be is when you know God is able…
But you haven’t seen Him move yet.
Take them to Job 42:10:
“And the Lord turned the captivity of Job… also the Lord gave Job twice as much…”
God didn’t just restore Job—
He turned it.
Which means:
There is a moment in God where everything can shift at once.
Tell them:
God can turn grief into joy
God can turn lack into overflow
God can turn confusion into clarity
And He doesn’t need time—He needs timing.
Then take them to Joel 2:25:
“I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten…”
Not days.
Not weeks.
Years.
That means:
God can give you back what life took from you.
God can restore what you thought was permanently lost.
Speak prophetically:
“Some of you are closer to a turning point than you realize.
The pressure has been building because something is about to break in your favor.”
Encourage them:
Don’t quit in a season that’s about to turn.
Don’t walk away right before the shift.
Don’t lose faith right before the breakthrough.
Close with declaration:
“God is turning it.God is restoring it.God is redeeming it.And what I went through will not be wasted.”

Get Back Up Again

There are some people who didn’t come in broken—they came in discouraged.
Because you tried.
You prayed.
You believed.
And somewhere along the way… you fell.
Not publicly.
Not dramatically.
But internally—you lost your momentum.
Take them to Micah 7:8:
“Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise…”
Notice the confidence in that statement:
“I shall arise.”
Not maybe.
Not if I feel like it.
Not when everything gets better.
I shall arise.
Tell them:
Falling does not disqualify you.
Falling does not cancel your calling.
Falling does not erase your identity.
Then take them deeper with Proverbs 24:16:
“For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again…”
Your righteousness is not proven by never falling—
It’s proven by your ability to get back up again.
Speak into their spirit:
“You’ve been down long enough.
You’ve replayed it long enough.
You’ve sat in it long enough.”
Now it’s time to rise.
Not because everything is fixed—
But because God is still with you.
Remind them:
The enemy thought the fall would finish you.
But God said, “You’re still getting up.”
Close strong:
“I may have fallen—but I’m not finished.I may have stumbled—but I’m still standing.And I still have a get-up in my spirit.”

It’s Still Working for You

There are people coming in tomorrow carrying things they don’t understand.
You prayed about it—and it still happened.
You trusted God—and it still hurt.
You did right—and it still went wrong.
And if we’re honest, some of you are quietly asking,
“God, how is this working for me?”
Take them to Romans 8:28:
“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God…”
Not some things.
Not the things that make sense.
Not just the victories.
All things.
That means:
The doors that closed are working
The relationships that ended are working
The tears you cried in private are working
Even the thing you wish never happened—
God is still working it.
Shift them into Genesis 50:20:
“You meant evil against me; but God meant it unto good…”
That word meant is powerful—because it speaks to intention.
People had one intention…
But God had another.
Which means:
What tried to break you had permission—but it didn’t have the final say.
Tell them:
“You survived it for a reason.
You made it through for a purpose.
And if you’re still standing, God is not done working.”
Encourage them to stop asking, “Why did it happen?”
And start declaring, “God, what are You producing through it?”
Close with this:
“This didn’t destroy me—it developed me.This didn’t end me—it equipped me.And everything I went through is still working for my good.”

When Emotions Are Louder Than God

Scripture

Jeremiah 17:9 (KJV)
“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?”

Devotional Thought

One of the hardest spiritual battles we face is learning to separate God’s voice from our emotions. Emotions are powerful. They can convince us that something feels right even when God has already told us it is wrong.

Sometimes we want something so badly that we silence the warnings God is giving us. Instead of listening to the quiet conviction of the Holy Spirit, we begin to listen to our feelings, our desires, and even the opinions of people who agree with what we already want.

This is how many people walk straight into situations God was trying to protect them from.

Emotions can make us believe that love is enough to fix something broken. Emotions can make us believe someone will change when they have shown no evidence of growth. Emotions can make us believe that going back will be different this time.

But God sees the whole picture.

Where we see potential, God sees patterns. Where we see possibility, God sees consequences.

God’s voice is often calm, quiet, and steady. Emotions, however, are loud and urgent. They push us to act quickly, to react impulsively, and to ignore wisdom.

Learning to walk with God requires spiritual discipline. It requires us to pause and ask a simple but powerful question:

“Is this my emotion speaking, or is this God guiding me?”

When we learn to quiet our emotions long enough to hear God clearly, we begin making decisions that bring peace instead of regret.

Prayer

Lord, help me not to be led by emotions alone. Teach me to pause and listen for Your voice before making decisions. When my feelings try to drown out Your wisdom, give me the strength to wait and seek Your direction. Let Your Spirit guide my choices so that my life reflects Your will and not just my impulses. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Journal Prompt

Have you ever made a decision based on emotion that later caused problems? What warning signs did you overlook?

What Does a Real Man Look Like?
Scripture:
“Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.”
— 1 Corinthians 16:13 (ESV)
Devotional Thought:
A lot of us grew up without anyone showing us what a real man looks like. Some of us saw men who only knew how to cheat, hustle, hit, lie, or run from responsibility. Others saw men cry once, get locked up, or never show up at all.
So what’s left? A bunch of young men trying to figure out manhood by trial and error.
But the Word of God defines manhood differently. It says be strong — not just with your fists, but with your faith. It says be watchful — not just in the streets, but in your heart and in your family. A real man protects, provides, repents, and leads. He doesn’t have to be perfect — but he’s present. He doesn’t run from truth — he grows in it.
You might not have had the blueprint, but you’ve got the Bible — and you’ve got God as your Father.
Prayer:
God,
Nobody really showed me how to be a man. I’ve picked up habits and ideas from the streets, from pain, and from broken people. But today, I want to learn from You. Show me what strength really is. Help me to be the man You created me to be — strong in love, truth, and faith.
Amen.

She Preaches Anyway
Scripture:
2 Timothy 4:2 (KJV)
“Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.”
Devotional Thought:
There are some days when you don’t feel like the woman with the microphone—you feel like the woman barely holding it together. Your body is tired, your heart is bruised, and your mind is wondering, “Lord, why did You choose me for this?” On those days, it would be easier to sit down, stay silent, and let someone else carry the weight of the Word. But the call of God on your life is not built on feelings; it is anchored in assignment.
Paul tells Timothy to “preach the word” in season and out of season—when it’s convenient and when it’s costly, when it’s celebrated and when it’s criticized. As a woman in ministry, you have likely felt the sting of both. You’ve preached while grieving. You’ve served while misunderstood. You’ve poured out while feeling empty. Yet here you are—still saying yes, still showing up, still carrying the oil God placed on your life.“She preaches anyway” doesn’t mean she ignores her pain. It means she refuses to let pain become her pastor. It means that even when her heart is heavy, she leans on the Holy Ghost to carry her voice. It means that sermons are not performances for people; they are offerings to God. When you stand to minister, you’re not just filling a program slot—you are partnering with heaven to shift atmospheres, break chains, and plant seeds in places you may never see.

There will always be opinions about women who preach. Some will doubt your calling. Some will question your authority. Some will reduce your anointing to your gender. But what matters most is not who releases you—it’s Who called you. Before you ever stood behind a pulpit, God saw you in your quiet place, weeping, praying, studying, surrendering. He did not make a mistake when He put His word in your mouth.
Today, let this truth settle in your spirit: you are not preaching because you are perfect; you are preaching because you are chosen. And even when your confidence shakes, your calling does not. When it feels like the weight of ministry is sitting on your shoulders, remember—God never asked you to carry the call by yourself. He only asked you to say yes, and trust Him with the rest.
Prayer:
Father, in the name of Jesus, thank You for trusting me with Your Word. On the days when I feel weak, overlooked, or questioned, remind me that You are the One who called me. Strengthen my heart to preach even when I’m tired, to serve even when I’m misunderstood, and to stand even when I feel alone.
Deliver me from the fear of opinions and the weight of expectations. Let my voice be an echo of Your heart and not my hurt. I surrender my insecurities, my frustrations, and my questions to You. Anoint me afresh, O God, and let Your power rest upon me every time I minister. In Jesus’ name, amen.

STANDING WHEN IT HURTS

Scripture:

“Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.”
— Ephesians 6:13 (NKJV)

Devotional Thought:

Standing isn’t always about physical posture — it’s a position of faith, especially when everything in you wants to collapse. There are seasons when standing means doing so through pain, through heartbreak, through confusion. It means continuing to trust God even when tears blur your vision and prayers feel unanswered.

But God does not expect you to stand in your own strength. That’s why He gave you armor. The belt of truth holds you together when lies try to unravel you. The breastplate of righteousness covers your heart when it’s been broken. The shield of faith blocks the fiery doubts that come late at night. And when you’ve done all you can, He steps in and strengthens your stance.

Sometimes standing looks like showing up when you feel unseen, loving people who wound you, or walking into a room where you feel out of place. It’s spiritual endurance, not because you’re strong—but because you’re covered in grace.

So if today finds you hurting, exhausted, or on the verge of giving up, take courage. You are still standing. And that, beloved, is proof that God is holding you up.

Prayer:

Lord, I’ve done all I know to do. I’ve prayed, I’ve believed, I’ve cried, and I’ve waited. But now I stand on Your strength, not mine. Wrap me in Your armor so the weight of life doesn’t break me. Let every piece of pain become a place of prayer, and every place of pressure become a portal for Your power. Help me stand when it hurts, and remind me that You are the One who never lets me fall. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Declaration:

“I will stand in faith even when I feel like falling. I will trust in God’s strength when mine is gone. I am covered, clothed, and kept by the power of His armor — and I will not give up. I will stand, even when it hurts.”

Good morning I’m praying for my children, my children children and yours.

Prayer for Renewal, Responsibility, and Covering the Next Generation

Heavenly Father,
I thank You for speaking to me, even through dreams. I thank You for every season of my life, for every person You allowed to cross my path, and for the ways You have shaped me through love, loss, and lessons learned.
Today, Lord, I come before You asking for Your divine renewal. Where my journey has stalled, where my spirit has run low on fuel, where the tags of my calling need renewing, Father, breathe new life into me. Renew my strength, refuel my faith, and refresh my purpose.
I surrender every key of authority You’ve entrusted me with. Help me to manage well what You have given me — my life, my family, my responsibilities, and the doors You open before me.
I lift up my grandchildren and great-grandchildren before You. Lord, cover them. Cleanse them. Protect their innocence. Bring them back under the safety of Your wings.
Where there is spiritual mustiness, cleanse with Your living water. Where there is immaturity, raise them up to spiritual maturity. Where there is confusion, bring clarity.
Father, make me alert to Your communications — even when You choose to speak in unexpected ways. Let me not be distracted by the games of life but sensitive to Your voice at every turn.
Restore every unfinished area in my life, and help me to complete every assignment You have placed in my hands.
Thank You for letting me know that You are with me, guiding me, and reminding me that the generations after me are watching, and they need my wisdom and prayers.
I trust You to finish the good work You started in me.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
