What a fantastic day of competition, fellowship, and fun at the East Arkansas Area Agency on Aging Bean Bag Baseball Tournament held last Thursday at the Paragould Senior Center!

Teams from across the region came together to showcase their skills and sportsmanship in a spirited day of play. Congratulations to our tournament champions, the Wiener Cardinals, who captured first place with an outstanding performance. The Jonesboro Senior Center team earned a strong second-place finish, followed by the BEES Stingers in third place and the Lepanto Warriors in fourth.

These four teams have officially advanced to the State Bean Bag Baseball Tournament, where they will represent Northeast Arkansas and the East Arkansas Area Agency on Aging. We are incredibly proud of all the participants who competed and demonstrated the energy, teamwork, and determination that make bean bag baseball such a special program for older adults.

Thank you to the Paragould Senior Center, our volunteers, coaches, and supporters for helping make this event a tremendous success. Best of luck to the Wiener Cardinals, Jonesboro Senior Center, BEES Stingers, and Lepanto Warriors as they head to state competition!

At East Arkansas Area Agency on Aging, we work with families navigating dementia care every day. Through the GUIDE Program, eligible participants can receive caregiver education, possible respite support, care coordination, and 24/7 access to a care team member.
