It is an extreme honor to announce the grand marshals for the 9th Annual Freedom Celebration, Benson and Cherie Bagwell.

They moved to Jonesboro in 2016 with BIG plans for Caney Lake. They are the original owners of Hook's Marina which created an atmosphere for friends and neighbors to hang out, listen to music, and eat some really great food. They later purchased Bateaux's and now own Weston Wolf stop and LA Pyrotechnics in Jonesboro.

Cherie and Benson are the ones that had the idea to have the 4th of July flotilla and that got the ball rolling for Caney Lake Community Foundation. They are amazing people and a great asset to the Caney Lake Community.

Please help us congratulate and thank them for everything they have done and are still doing for this community.

The 2026 Freedom Celebration Flotilla will be Saturday, July 4th @ 10am.

Next Saturday, June 6th

Anyone born on or after January 1, 1984 must have this certificate to operate a boat. Even if you are not required to have the certificate it is a very educational class to take. Sign up with your friends/ family and learn together.

CLCF will provide a pizza lunch for all participants. You must register ahead of time thru the LA Department of Wildlife & Fisheries Link. Limited to 35 participants.
