Lexington Baptist Church is living on mission, and it all starts with prayer! How amazing it is to know that an entire church is praying for opportunities to share the gospel with the lost and live in the local community.

And there is no age limit when it comes to praying. These church members, from ages 3 to 83, came together to join in lifting up prayers to the Lord!

62% of Georgia's third graders are not reading proficiently, according to the Georgia Council on Literacy.

Georgia Recorder released a story this year in February that shares research suggesting that reading proficiency at this age is a major predictor of future success, with kids who cannot read well by third grade four times as likely to drop out of school before getting their diploma.

There’s a real need in Georgia, and your church can make an impact through .

Just 30 minutes of reading with a child each week can make all the difference! Whether it’s at your church, in your neighborhood, or with your own kids, you can help close the literacy gap.

All children are a gift from God, and each one deserves care.

Earlier this year, [tag]Belmont Baptist Church hosted Foster Parent Night as a way to show love and serve foster parents. These church members sacrificed their Friday night to create a space where foster moms and dads could rest and refresh, being comforted that their beloved children were being entertained and cared for.

Caring for foster families is a beautiful picture of the body of Christ in action. Thank you for sharing the love of Jesus so faithfully!

God has a special place in his heart for children experiencing foster care. In fact, Psalm 82:3 calls us to provide justice for the needy and the fatherless.

We have the opportunity to care for children experiencing foster care and families supporting those children. Jodie Marsh, a Foster Care Mobilizer with Mission Georgia, has experienced the reality of this call firsthand.

It's Love Your Neighbor Day! Choosing to love your neighbor is a decision that requires a selfless sacrifice of your time, energy, and love.

Hebron Church made the decision to love their neighbor by hosting an appreciation luncheon for local school counselors. It was a sweet time, sharing experiences and resources, encouraging one another, and simply resting from the business of life.

This event was meaningful to the counselors who are continuously pouring into students every single day. How can they lead from an empty cup? Counselors need to be encouraged, too! Ultimately, we all need to be reminded of the strength and encouragement that comes from the true Wonderful Counselor!

Thank you, church, for dedicating the time and love to these school faculty to keep going, and for Loving Your Neighbor!
