This summer, Ryder Wilson has earned the incredible opportunity to march with the Zephyrus Drum & Bugle Corps, a highly competitive ensemble based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Zephyrus competes in Drum Corps International (DCI), the premier marching music organization in the world. DCI brings together some of the most talented young musicians and performers from across the country to perform at an elite level through intense rehearsals, nationwide tours and national competitions.

Being selected to march with a DCI corps is a major accomplishment that requires exceptional musicianship, dedication, discipline and work ethic. For a student from a small town like Jones, this is an especially significant achievement and an opportunity that very few students ever get to experience. Ryder’s hard work and commitment to music have opened the door to perform alongside some of the best young performers in the country, and our entire community could not be more proud of him and everything he has accomplished
