Mark your calendars and plan to attend the 2027 YMCA Gala on Saturday, February 27, at the Bolingbrook Golf Club. This elegant evening, which is generously presented by Midland States Bank, celebrates charitable giving at the YMCA by showcasing the Y’s impact in our community and the generous donors, like you, who help to make our mission come to life each and every day. Festivities will include dinner, silent and live auctions, exciting raffles, and entertainment.

Tickets for the 2027 YMCA Gala will go on sale in January. Exciting sponsorship opportunities for the Gala will be available beginning next week.

Here’s how to enter:
1. Download an entry form and print it out. Entry forms are also available at the Y’s Front Desk.

2. Grab some crayons, markers and colored pencils and draw a picture that depicts your favorite things about the holidays and the winter season. From snowmen to Christmas trees, to candy canes and snowflakes, we can’t wait to see your original designs!

We will select our three favorite designs—one from each age group—to be featured on the Y’s holiday card. The deadline to enter is 8 p.m. on Thursday, November 5.

POV: it’s 2013

We’re throwing it back all year long for our Centennial! This month, we’re in the 2010’s, and we’re bringing back a trend that took over the internet in 2013…the Harlem Shake!

Shoutout to Wiley and Joliet Junior College Athletics!
