Anyone seen this dog?!! She got out near the field coming from old renwick trail townhomes! Please let me know any info and keep a look out. No collar and not microchipled. Her name is sonny but she is very skittish and afraid.

Good morning neighbors. I received a phone call from a neighbor on Indian Head Lane, in the duplexes. Early this morning, around 2am, they witnessed two individuals trying to open their car door, which was locked and in their driveway. They then moved right on to the next car. The neighbor went outside to confront them and they took off running towards the park. Both were wearing dark, hooded sweatshirts. One wearing pants or jeans and the other wearing cargo shorts. The police were contacted. Just a reminder to make sure you keep your car doors locked when parked outside of your garage.

Good evening neighbors. Just received a call from a neighbor who was walking their dog past the park. They observed two young individuals driving mini bikes or mopeds around the park, doing donuts in the mulch near the swings. When the neighbor asked what they were doing, they replied with, “None of your f**king business!” One rode off, but the other had trouble starting his bike, and issued a threat that they were going to do something to him. The police were called. If anyone knows anything, please contact the Joliet Police. They were wearing masks, but appeared to be Hispanic and possibly under the influence of drugs.

Good evening everyone. We have had several reports of individuals throwing fireworks at residents front doors this evening. The most recent was on Indian Head Lane and Bowie Court. The police were notified by the homeowner, and they are patrolling the area now.

SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT
Sunday’s Severe Weather Outlook

The Storm Prediction Center has Joliet and Will County in the ENHANCED RISK (level 3) category for severe weather tomorrow. There are a couple of waves of storms that we are monitoring (early to mid afternoon, and again from the evening to portions of the overnight hours). Damaging winds and hail are the main threats. However, a few tornadoes can’t be ruled out.

This is something that we will be keeping a close eye on. We will issue an update tomorrow morning in our forecast. Keep an eye to the sky tomorrow, and have a way to receive alerts if watches and or warnings are issued.

Will County: Lane closures for upcoming bridge repairs on Interstate 55 begin TONIGHT, June 7.

Installation of barrier walls between Weber Road and I-80 will require overnight lane closures. By June 14, I-55 will be reduced to two lanes in each direction through late August.
