Message for all:

This year's event is likely going to be the final one. What began with a desire to help 10-15 local veterans in 2009 and has grown to feed well over 15,000 since is nearing the end of the line. With support from donors who made it possible becoming even more difficult to obtain year after year, the tough decision to close down Caring Patriots NFP is likely the only option. Although we have not ruled out keeping it open if we can somehow raise more needed funds, if we don’t, it has still been one heck of a run for a charity that started with just one idea to help. My personal gratitude and appreciation go to everyone who has chipped in time or donations over the years to make this dream come true. If this is the final event next month, I hope it is a huge success for those we can take care of for a shopping experience.

The date is coming soon! This year Roy Hobbs Chicago will be hosting a Charity Baseball Game to benefit Caring Patriots and the Annual Veterans' Food Drive. Tickets are $10 each in advance, $15 at the gate. Anybody interested in advance tickets, feel free to comment and we will make arrangements.
