🎄 What a magical evening with our Restoration Kids families! Thank you to everyone who joined us for Snuggle & Celebrate: Family Christmas Movie Night! ✨ It was such a joy to kick off the Advent season together, reflecting on the hope, peace, joy, and love that Jesus brings.

Here’s to a season full of kindness, connection, and celebrating the greatest gift of all—our Savior! ❤️🎥 ⭐️

In Switch It Up this week, kids learned, “I Can Forgive Others.”

In Matthew 18:21-35 Jesus told a story about a servant who was forgiven an enormous debt but refused to forgive another servant who owed him a much smaller amount. Jesus taught that when you know how much you have been forgiven, that forgiveness can help you forgive others.

Tell your kids a story about a time you forgave someone. Celebrate how it made a difference for you and the other person. Encourage your kids to remember how much God loves and forgives them—and to allow that love to help them forgive others.

Take time today to pray as a family—talk and listen to God. Pray these four things:

1. Thank God for His love and forgiveness.
2. Ask God to help you turn to Him whenever you make wrong choices and ask for forgiveness.
3. Pray for one another.
4. Choose one or two other people to pray for—that they would know they need to be forgiven and that God’s forgiveness through Jesus is the best gift ever.

🌟 Dream Team Winner Spotlight! 🌟

Every six weeks, we celebrate our incredible volunteers who make a difference at RCC! This round, we’re excited to highlight two amazing women who have been a blessing to our children’s ministries: Christina and Aubrei!

Meet Christina:
Christina has been a dedicated member of RCC since 2023 and serves as one of our primary school teachers. She has a heart for teaching and caring ministries, and in her spare time, she loves to read, write, sew, and color. We are so grateful for Christina’s passion and love for guiding our kids in faith.

Meet Aubrei:
Aubrei is one of our nursery assistants and is currently a high school student. She has a true sweetheart for littles and always brings a warm and joyful energy to the nursery. When Aubrei isn’t volunteering, she enjoys baking, fashion, and spending time with her dogs. We’re so blessed to have her nurturing spirit caring for the youngest members of RCC.

Our next Baby Dedication service will be Sunday February 11th during second service. Baby Dedication is available for children six weeks to five years of age. If you would like your child to be dedicated, register the app and details will be emailed to you. A Dedication Class is required for the parents of participants on Monday, January 29th at 6:30 pm.

As our church is focused on 21 days of fasting and prayer, involve your child in these disciplines.

When you pray, invite your child to pray along with you and allow them to join you during our Wednesday praise and prayer nights. There will be age appropriate resources provided at the check in desk.

Let them know how you are praying for our church, our community, and our world, and encourage them to do the same!

Hey RCC family! This month in Restoration Kids, we are focusing on the Simple Truth, “I Am Secure,” and our theme is Unshakable. We want our kids to know that they are secure in God because He is in control. God controls our circumstances, our stories, our world, and our future. I hope that this month, you can reflect on the ways God has been faithful to you and trust that He will continue to be faithful because He is in control.
