Sometimes, support starts with a conversation.

After losing a friend to su***de, one coffee shop owner turned his grief into action by creating a safe space for veterans to connect, talk, and seek help. He even offers temporary firearm storage for those experiencing a mental health crisis—removing barriers and creating time for hope.

Mental health struggles in young men don’t always look the way people expect.

Sometimes the warning signs show up as falling behind in school, sleeping too much, becoming overly defensive, escaping into excessive gaming, or developing an unrealistic sense of invincibility.

Recognizing these signs early can make a real difference. Checking in, listening without judgment, and encouraging professional support can help young men feel seen and supported.

Let’s keep the conversation going—not just in June, but every day. 💙

Mental health isn’t something you master overnight—it’s a lifelong process.

🏁 Formula 1 driver Pierre Gasly shares an important reminder: every stage of life brings new challenges, and learning how to navigate them takes time. The key is understanding yourself, finding what works for you, and continuing to search for peace along the way.

No one has all the answers, and that’s okay. Growth comes from learning every day.

Mental health struggles don’t always happen off the track. Even at the highest levels of motorsport, drivers face pressure, stress, and challenges that aren’t always visible.

Marcus Ericsson’s message is a reminder that speaking openly about mental health helps break the stigma and creates space for others to do the same. Strength isn’t staying silent—it’s knowing when to reach out.

💚 Let’s keep the conversation going.

This Men’s Mental Health Month, we recognize the importance of mental wellbeing across all areas of motorsport. By encouraging open conversations and reducing stigma, we can help create an environment where drivers feel empowered to prioritize their mental health both on and off the track.

No matter your series, team, or level of competition, your mental health matters.

Amazing night speaking with the Frankfort Lions Club of Illinois ! We were humbled when they surprised Racing For Mental Health with a generous $500 donation.

Their dedication to community is exactly the energy we need as we work to turn up the volume on mental health driving conversations, education, and outreach so more people know support is available.
