Upcoming Program!

Domestic violence doesn't end with age—and older adults often face unique challenges that can make abuse difficult to recognize and report.

Join us on Monday, June 15, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the New Lenox Village Hall Community Room for this important and informative presentation. Learn how abuse impacts older adults, what warning signs to watch for, and how to support those who may be experiencing harm.

Participants will learn:

• The different forms of abuse affecting older adults
• Common warning signs of physical, emotional, and financial abuse
• Why elder abuse is often underreported
• How financial exploitation occurs and the red flags to recognize
• Available resources and reporting options in our community
• How to support older adults while promoting safety and dignity

Join us right at 9am for coffee, donuts and to visit some informational tables. The presentation begins at 9:30am!
