The Johnstown Chapter of National Active and Retired Federal Employees (NARFE) will be hosting a health insurance benefits informational meeting for any current or retired Federal employee or annuitant on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at Hoss’s Sea & Steakhouse (Shriner’s Room) Richland (441 Theatre Dr., Johnstown, PA 15904). The meeting will begin at 11:30 AM and lunch will be available to order, or you can just stop by to pick up insurance materials. There will be representatives from Highmark Blue Cross, UPMC, and Aetna insurance companies available to answer your questions about Federal health insurance benefits for 2026. The Johnstown Chapter of National Active and Retired Federal Employees (NARFE) will be holding a luncheon informational meeting for any current or retired Federal employees or annuitants on Wednesday, April16, 2025, at Hoss’s Sea & Steakhouse Richland (441 Theatre Dr., Johnstown, PA 15904). The meeting will begin at 11:30 AM and lunch will be available to order, at your own expense.

We do have a guest speaker this month from the UPMC Hospice. After our speaker, the luncheon meeting will discuss the current state of Federal employee and retiree benefits, including any changes, improvements or challenges. We will update our members on what is going on in Congress and what actions they can take to protect those benefits.

This is a non-partisan organization and we will not be discussing political views here, but rather, working to protect the benefits promised to Federal employees and retirees, as they navigate these changing times.
