Mission:
The mission of the Cambria County Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force is to support and enable the discovery of and response to incidents of human trafficking through a victim centered, multidisciplinary, and collaborative community effort. Vision:

Thank you to Come AS U R Ministries for organizing this eye opening event! A viewing of Blind Eyes Opened and panel discussion was impactful.

Human trafficking takes many forms and happens in our community. It’s important to educate yourself and know what resources are available to you! There are many here in our community - Victim Services Inc., Bedford-Somerset DBHS / Cornerstone Community Services, Center for Community Resources, and many more!

We were glad to participate in this years Red Sand Project this week. Thank you to Victim Services Inc. and the Cambria County Human Trafficking Response Team for coordinating this awareness event across Somerset and Cambria Counties. This project raises awareness about human trafficking and the red sand represents survivors that fall through the cracks within the system. This project works to raise awareness and show survivors they are seen, supported, and there are supporters working to create a world where exploitation does not exist. Victim Services Inc. Cambria and Somerset locations participated in the Red Sand Project today for World Day Against Trafficking in Persons.

The red sand represents survivors that fall through the cracks within the system. This project works to raise awareness and show survivors we see them, we support them, and we are tirelessly working to create a world where exploitation no longer exists!
