Three Pennsylvania National Guard Soldiers who are deployed to Texas in support of Joint Task Force–Southern Border responded to a serious single-vehicle rollover while conducting a routine patrol July 9 and provided immediate assistance until local authorities arrived. Spc. Dakota James, Sgt. Dallas Girardi and Staff Sgt. Alexander Rupert of the 252nd Engineer Co., 55th Maneuvar Enhancement Brigade witnessed a civilian vehicle veer off the roadway, strike a road sign and roll multiple times before coming to rest upside down in a roadside ditch.
