Brotherly love.. or something like that. 😅 Chewy just does his best to stay out of it.

Our friends from The Hive Adult Day Service came out for another visit! They helped us test out our new visual schedules that some wonderful interns from Denison are helping us create!

It’s also safe to say the goats love their jobs ✅

Increasing the grade to our porch is an accessibility improvement we’ve been looking forward to for a long time, and we’re so excited to see it come together! This change will make entering and exiting our building much easier for our students, visitors, and community members, without having to navigate a ramp.

As an added bonus, leftover gravel was used to fill in a section of our driveway that had washed out!

A huge thank you to Carz and Causez for funding this project and to R&L Excavating for generously making it happen. We’re so grateful to have community partners who help us make our farm a more accessible place for everyone!

THREE GOATS. A MILLION POSSIBILITIES…

We’ve got two boys and one girl who need names, and we’re turning to YOU for help!

For just $1 per name suggestion, you can throw your best ideas into the mix! Want to honor a family member? Name one after your favorite local business? Have a goofy, ridiculous, absolutely unhinged goat name that deserves to live on a farm?

$1 = 1 name suggestion

Honor someone special, give a business a shoutout, or let your creativity run wild! Submitted names will go into the final voting hat, where the winning names will be selected the first week in November.

Name suggestions close Halloween night! 🎃

Proceeds will go toward supporting feed costs and winterization items for our new farm friends!

Our TLS group helped us welcome fall last week!

-We met several spooky garden friends 🕷️🦋🐛
-Harvested flowers and produce 🍅🌻🍂
-Took care of the animals ✅
- and made a pumpkin volcano! 🎃

The goats are settling in great from Glenwood Farmstead and we are slowly preparing our garden beds for winter. In the classroom we are working on our winter plans and are discussing farm winterization for the incoming cold weather.

If you missed it, we will not have classes but instead will be open to the public for UPICK TOMORROW!

We had the privledge of having our wonderful friends from Carz and Causez out this past weekend to tour the farm and see all of the wonderful things we’ve been working on.

This year, proceeds from the Bryan Lewis Memorial Car Show will benefit some winterization items for the goats, and it will support increasing the grade of the driveway near the front porch to make it more accessible!

They have been some of our biggest supporters & cheerleaders for all the great things happening here at the farm, we truly couldn’t do what we do without them!
