We lost someone very special to our farm community. We are absolutely heartbroken to share the news that Bill Foley has passed away unexpectedly.

Our hearts are with his family, friends, and everyone who knew and loved him. We’re grateful for the memories and music he shared with us in years past here at the farm.

Our festival will still be a day of community, laughter, and connection…but we’ll be missing one very special person. Keep his family in your thoughts.

What else have we been up to without our beloved students back in session yet?

Well, we’re glad you asked.

We visited the Master Gardener Volunteers of Licking Countys learning garden… and you should too! They have such lovely garden spaces and are truly the GOATs (no not the kind you pet)!

We took a tour around their spaces, shared ideas, and talked about all the exciting plans each of our organizations had in store. If you’re looking for somewhere to volunteer, learn, or even just a space to share your love of plants… they are a great place to start!

We’re looking for a band or entertainment act to join us for our Family Fall Festival on September 13th. We’re hoping to find an upbeat, family-friendly option that can help make the day extra special for our guests!

A little reminder that GOAT YOGA is happening at the farm!

We’re kicking off our Family Fall Festival 2026 with a morning of stretching, sunshine, and approximately 20 of our goats’ closest friends thanks to Glenwood Farmstead!

Just as a little thank you if you’re spending the day with us, volunteers at the Fall Festival get in FREE!

Come stretch it out, get some goat snuggles, and then stick around for the Family Fall Festival afterward. BYOM (bring your own mat!)

This week, Learning 4 Life Farm was able to donate 90 pounds of fresh produce to the Food Pantry Network of Licking County.

With the flooding that has affected so many of our surrounding counties, it felt like the least we could do for a community that supports us so much. If you’re in a position to help someone right now whether that’s donating, volunteering, or sharing a little extra from your own garden or pantry, we hope that you will.

The United Way of Licking County is also collecting hygiene donation items if you are looking for other ways to give back. Consider joining them September 11th for their Week of Caring Kick-Off at the Canal Market District.

We’re grateful that our students get to learn not only how to grow food, but what it means to grow something that can be shared with others. Neighbors help neighbors 🌱
