Mother’s Day can be one of the most painful days of the year for women silently struggling with infertility, pregnancy loss, or the longing to become a mother.

While the world celebrates, many women are carrying heartbreak, unanswered prayers, empty arms, and the overwhelming question of “when will it be my turn?”

At Stork Fund, we want area women walking this difficult journey to know they are seen, loved, and not alone. This Mother’s Day, our Stork Fund Fairies created and delivered 30 care packages to local women facing infertility and family-building struggles throughout our community.

These packages may seem small, but our hope is that they remind each woman that someone is thinking of them, supporting them, and holding space for their pain and their hope.

To every woman longing to be a mother — we see your strength, your grief, your courage, and your love. Your story matters, and you matter. 💙

I would like to recognize our entire Stork Fund Volunteer Committee (Stork Fund Fairies) all tagged in this post. These women are passionate about our cause ❤️ the infertility community is extremely grateful for them and their giving hearts

This week is National Infertility Week and we wanted to take a moment to acknowledge just how many of us are quietly carrying this

Globally, 1 in 6 couples will experience infertility in their lifetime. That is not a small number… that is someone in almost every single room you walk into

And yet, it is one of the loneliest things a person can go through. Because so much of it happens in private. in waiting rooms. on bathroom floors. in the quiet grief of another month, another negative, another loss that the world never knew about

Infertility doesn’t look just one way
it lives in the woman who has been trying for years with no explanation. in the couple navigating IVF. in the mama who keeps losing her babies before she gets to keep one. in the woman who has decided she cannot keep going.. and is learning to grieve a future she always imagined

Every single path deserves to be seen this week

💐 Help Us Brighten Mother’s Day for Women Struggling with Infertility 💐

Each year, we assemble special Mother’s Day Care Packages for women in our community who are navigating the difficult journey of infertility. This year, we will be delivering 30 care packages to local women to remind them they are seen, supported, and not alone.

We are asking for the community’s help by donating small gifts or items that can bring comfort, encouragement, and a little joy. Examples include self-care items, candles, cozy socks, journals, gift cards, chocolates, or anything thoughtful that would help lift someone’s spirits.

📦 Donation Deadline: April 18
🌸 Delivery: Mother’s Day Weekend
🎁 Goal: 30 care packages for local women

If you would like to donate items or contribute, please message us for drop-off details. Your generosity helps make Mother’s Day a little gentler for women who need it most.
