Friends Of Patton Park

In August 2019, I made a decision to transfer the nonprofit account for 'Friends of Patton Park' to a dedicated group of Patton parents that will be able to put in much more time and energy than me. Between working two jobs and becoming a Blair County resident I decided this would be a great opportunity to see Patton Park improve with a team that will be able to network, mobilize and fundraise.
Since the transfer, 'Restore 814' has received two grants. They just announced today they received a grant of $2,000 for Patton Park's multipurpose field and a grant of $3,500 for Patton Park's basketball court.
That being said, I encourage everyone to like their page and help donate!

We are excited to announce that we were awarded a $1,000.00 mini grant from 'Community Foundation for the Alleghenies' mini grant program! This grant will be used for purchasing new railroad ties to repair the Patton Park train tracks. Funding this project will give future generations a chance to enjoy Patton Park's train!

Today 'Friends of Patton Park' applied for a $1000 Grant from 'Community Foundations for the Alleghenies' to go towards repairing Patton Park's train tracks that are in immediate need for being repaired. Grants are to be awarded in April.

At tonight's Patton Borough Council meeting 'Friends of Patton Park' President Mark Stephens presented a $1,500.00 check to the council for park renovation projects.
