Johnstown Youth Athletic Association (JYAA) Welcome to Johnstown Youth Athletic Association! We currently offer programs in baseball, softball, soccer, football, basketball and cheerleading.

The Johnstown Youth Athletic Association, a non-profit 501(c)(3) charity, strives to provide to children of all ages the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of sports, as well as sportsmanship. The Johnstown Youth Athletic association strives to provide to children of all ages the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of sports, as well as sportsmanship. One of our goals is to teach the children

to play by the rules of their chosen sport. This is not all that the children will learn. The JYAA feels it is important to place extra emphasis on learning to relate well with the coaches and players and to exhibit good sportsmanship. Playing sports is not only a healthy physical activity, but a health social activity as well. Come join the fun and learning that is JYAA Sports.

Johnstown Elite Basketball is BACK for the 2026–27 season! Girls and boys going into 4th–6th grade who are ready for a more competitive winter basketball experience are invited to check out Johnstown Elite. (See the attached flyer, page 2, to better understand the difference between rec and Elite)
