A quiet but powerful milestone today: The Empowered Wellness Project is officially moving forward as a Medicaid-credentialed Community Health Worker organization 🎉Allowing us to offer Insurance-accessible postpartum support groups, lactation support, care coordination, health education, grief support, and so much more!

This brings us one step closer to offering accessible support to the families and communities who need it most.

I’m deeply proud and very hopeful for what’s coming next!!!! 🤍

The Empowered Wellness Project is thisssss close to becoming a fully recognized nonprofit in Rhode Island!! And we need your help to cross the finish line!

We’ve officially filed our state paperwork 📝
Now we’re raising funds for the final federal filing fees, business licensing and initial startup costs.

Wellness is multi-dimensional. It’s not just the absence of disease/sickness. It’s also not just self-care or one area of life. It is an interconnected web.

The 8 Dimensions of Wellness remind us that our wellbeing is shaped by many interconnected parts: physical, social, emotional, intellectual, environmental, financial, career, and existential.

When one dimension is off, it can ripple into the others. When we nurture even one area, it can lift the whole wheel. Nothing works in isolation.

This is one of the driving forces behind The Empowered Wellness Project:

🌈 To create spaces where all dimensions can be seen, supported, and strengthened.

🌈 To honor wellness as community care, not just individual effort.
