Hello Ladies!!
I wanted to give you a heads up about membership cost changes that will be coming soon! If you have been waiting to join, now would be the time to do it!

We have not had a change in membership fees since 2022. Armed Women of America has done a very good job at keeping costs down. As you can imagine, costs have gone up for most expenses, and as a result, the decision was made to increase membership dues by $10 effective Jan. 1, 2026. You can renew early if you wish for another year (this does not reset your membership renewal date) by logging into your account on the website
If your renewal date is after June 1st, you can call the office and they will do that for you over the phone.
Fees for additional chapters remain at $15.
Additionally, beginning February 1, there will now a NEW member processing fee of $15. This is necessary to address the administration process required when new to the organization. This only applies to 1st time membership processing. AWA Office # 888-560-5579

If you have any questions, please message us, or call the number above to talk to someone at headquarters.

Recall notice!

Recall on biometric safes - please read:

Ammoland Inc. Posted on October 24, 2023 the following (excerpts from article):

“In a critical safety alert, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced the recall of an alarming 61,000 biometric gun safes, distributed by well-known outlets such as Cabela’s, Bass Pro, and Lowe’s. … According to reports, although these safes are designed to open exclusively with the owner’s biometric fingerprint, they can mistakenly remain in a default open mode. This flaw means that essentially anyone, including children, can access the contents of the safe merely by placing their fingers on the scanner. … The affected models, carrying brand names like Fortress, Cabela’s, Gettysburg, and Legend Range & Field, span a variety of designs, including portable lock boxes, personal safes, pistol vaults, and gun cabinets. …”

See the link for details to include “at home fix” and how to get a replacement. https://www.ammoland.com/2023/10/potentially-flawed-biometric-gun-safes-recalled-heres-what-you-need-to-know/?ct=t(RSS_EMAIL_CAMPAIGN)
