The Johnston IBPO 307 would like to recognize the work of Sgt. David Galligan for his actions on Wednesday, February 8th.
Sgt. Galligan observed a vehicle traveling erratically on Atwood Avenue. After stopping the vehicle, the operator was unable to answer basic questions to identify himself. He was subsequently removed from the vehicle at which time a loaded G***k 27 was found in the operators waistband.
Great job Sgt. Galligan for keeping the community safe by removing a weapon from the streets.
