PAL Network.org

PAL Network.org PAL Network (Parent Advocate Leadership Network) is a grassroots 501C-3 nonprofit organization that empowers youth to increase their social impact.

The CSR (Community Social Responsibility) Internship is an opportunity to allow students to work as a team to share and strengthen business skills, promote cooperation among agencies, improve health care for the uninsured, and have a voice in local social change as future leaders. We believe the future of work means having social media skills that are above average and our flexible scheduling is geared to meet your personal needs.

Yesterday I went to the second ARK CHALLENGE at Crystal BRIDGES in the Great Hall. Three teams of young entrepreneurs each won $150,000. A great day for them and for Arkansas to be sure.

All the $$ & youthful energy in that room could also be directed to serving people like Ms. Patsy Walker who has one leg, a survivors benefit of $800/ month and no food stamps or Medicaid.

I think we need to make Ms. Walker the example of who we need to help first to develop an Initiative Petition drive to begin to change Medicaid in ARKANSAS.
What do you think?

Our group had a great meeting this afternoon and we settled how we want to begin the VINE project.

We want students to video an accident or illness and determine the cost of being uninsured. The most innovative and accurate project with the greatest number of followers and reVines will be the winner.

Our goal is to get students interested in the costs of health care services and develop a petition drive to change Medicaid in Arkansas to be comperable to other states. All comments are appreciated.

Last week we developed a VINE video challenge contest to Win the attention of youth online. Stay tuned.

Last night I was talking to our newest board member Noel and she wants to push me in a wheel chair into a toy display at Walmart and then video peoples reaction. What do you think?

We are going to expand the video challenge to people 50 and over to make this really fun for eldets too.

I just woke up from a dream at 3am to post this idea. Am I crazy or what?

Hello all, Noel here-- Today Cassidy and I had the opportunity to visit with one of Fayetteville's most famous restauranteurs, Mama Dean. Her story is so inspiring and we are looking forward to sharing it with the community. Keep checking back for updates concerning fundraising events and news on our soon-to-be YouTube channel!

Hey everyone, Noel here. This morning we met with some folks from the Grants program at the University of Arkansas and a representative from Life Source. They are helping us to create a grant writing class that will be available to those interested in grants and fundraising. Exciting!
