Families and Friends of the Liberian Community here within the Tri-Cities of Tennessee, allow me to take this time with the deepest sorrows of heart to inform of the bereavement within the family of our Brother Lewis McCabe, and our Sister Sarah McCabe. My Fellow Liberians within the Tri Cities of Tennessee: it is with heavy heart that I come to you inform you all of the passing of one of our Elder yesterday, Mother Gargar, the mother of Our sister and brother Latesha Gargar and Jimmy Gargar went to be with the Lord last night. Please call or visit the family to express your sympathy at 220 Cedar creek rd. Apt. #2, Gray Tennessee. The Liberian community General assembly meeting this coming Sunday May 3rd, 2015 will be dedicated to her memories and collective support for the Gargar Family. venue Will be at the Carver Park Recreation Center. LIBERIAN UNION IN THE TRI-CITIES, TN JOHNSON CITY, TENNESSEE
TO: ALL LIBERIANS, FRIENDS, AND WELL-WISHER

SUBJECT: EMERGENCY GENERAL COMMUNITY MEETING
DATE: SUNDAY, OCTOBER 14TH, 2012
VENUE: CIVITIAN PARK, S. BROADWAY, JOHNSON CITY, TENNESSEE
MASSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
MY FELLOW LIBERIANS:
AS WE COME CLOSE TO THE END OF ANOTHER REMARKABLE YEAR. I WILL LIKE TO CALL UPON THE ENTIRE COMMUNITY TO COME TOGETHER ON OCTOBER 14TH 2012 FOR A KIND OF TOWNHOUSE STYLE COMMUNITY GENERAL MEETING TO BE HELD AT THE CIVITIAN PARK ON SOUTH BROADWAY STREET, JOHNSON CITY, TN. COME LET US DISCUSS OUR PROGRESS AND ACHIEVEMENT DURING THE PAST TWO YEAR OF MY ADMINISTRATION, AS WELL AS OUR FUTURE PROSPECT FOR THE COMING YEAR, AS YOU MAY BE AWARE, THIS YEAR IS ELECTION YEAR! WHICH WILL BE A PART OF THE AGENDA FOR DISCUSSION, AND ALONE WITH THE PRESENTATION OF THE COMMUNITY’S REVISED CONSTITUTION FOR THE ENTIRE COMMUNITY RECTIFICATION AND APPROVAL. I WILL ALSO BE PRESENTING TO YOU THE ELECTION COMMISSION, SUMMARY REPORT OF MY ADMINISTRATION FOR THE PAST TERM OF MY ADMINISTRATION. I KNOW WE HAVE NOT HAD GENERAL COMMUNITY FOR A LONG TIME, AND I TAKE PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY FOR THAT, AS FOR THE PAST FEW MONTHS I HAVE BEEN OVERWHELM WITH SOME PERSONAL AND FAMILY MATTER, BUT BY THE HELP GOD AND SOME FAMILY FRIENDS WITHIN THE COMMUNITY, I WAS ABLE TO WEATHER THE STORM. HOWEVER, I HAVE BEEN WORKING WITH A SMALL GROUP OF COMMITTEE, AND WE HAVE MADE PROGRESS IN SETTING THE FOUNDATION FOR GROWTH AND PROGRESS FOR OUR COMMUNITY, THEREFORE PLEASE SET THIS DATE ASIDE ON YOUR CALENDER, AND BRING YOUR FRESH NEW IDEAS, SUGGESTIONS, AND CONTRIBUTIONS ON HOW WE CAN FOSTER PROGRESS, UNITY, GROWTH, AND CON-SOLIDARITY WITHIN OUR COMMUNITY.
