I am pleased to announce that upon graduating with my master's degree in Special Education this month, I have committed to providing social media and content creation services for Advancing Education for the next year. Congratulations to Pearson Mills for his graduation from East Tennessee State University! Yesterday, he was awarded a bachelor's in Biology with a minor in public administration.

Thank you and farewell, Rebecca Stephens!

Rebecca has played an instrumental role in advancing our organization during her time as Vice Chair. As a new nonprofit, we were still defining who we are and what we stand for, and Rebecca’s leadership helped guide us through that critical period with clarity and purpose.

Her thoughtful approach and steady commitment were essential in shaping and refining our mission. She brought insight, focus, and a collaborative spirit that ensured our work remained grounded in meaningful impact. Thanks to her contributions, we now move forward with a stronger foundation and a clearer sense of direction.

We are deeply grateful for Rebecca’s service, dedication, and leadership. Her influence will continue to be felt in the work we do and the mission we carry forward.

Our presenter: Angeleea DuBose, Registered Behavioral Technician
For over five years, Angeleea has works with children with autism to help them learn new skills, improve communication, and manage their emotions. I also help children follow routines and build positive behaviors in a safe and supportive environment.

Length:1 hour 30 minutes

Ms. DuBose will present for one hour, then we will break into smaller groups to discuss ideas on how to use prompting in school and home settings.
